Garnier – Micellar Cleansing Water.

Garnier – Micellar Cleansing Water.

Hi Loves! Today not a makeup review, but a makeup cleanser review. Today I’m gonna review the Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water for sensitive skin. Does this product really work? Find out!

This is what it looks like. I chose the one for sensitive skin, because my skin is always very picky when it comes to skincare. I was a little skeptical about this product, magic water that removes all your makeup? Yeah right! But it actually kinda surprised me a bit! It promises to clean your skin, remove every bit of makeup without heavily wiping, and to leave your skin nice and soft. This one doesn’t contain perfume or paraben, which is nice if you have a sensitive skin!

If I look at the ingredient list I don’t see anything special, so that’s a good thing. This bottle has 400 ml, which can last a while. It is an easy 1 step product to have a clean, soft and hydrated skin without rinsing. It lifts dirt, makeup and impurities away from the skin like a magnet, that way there is no need for rubbing. Just apply it to a cotton pad, and wipe off your face, it’s that easy!

This is what the opening of the bottle looks like. Very easy to use, but if you are a little bit clumsy (like me), it may not be the best thing in the world.

What do I think about the Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water?

I find that it smells a little bit chemical which I don’t really like. I tried this on my eyes, face and lips, but I don’t really like it for my eyes and lips.

When I try removing my eye-makeup with this, my eye-makeup just won’t come off at all especially not with gentle wiping like they said. It also stung my eyes very badly when I got it in my eye (which in my opinion is impossible not to get it in your eyes). Also my eyes didn’t feel as hydrated as with my normal eye-makeup remover, which is an oil.

For the lips it is okay, but you definitely don’t want to lick your lips afterwards because it tastes disgusting!

The best results I get is with my face makeup, it removes foundation like a dream. Your face feels oil free but still hydrated. It removes every little bit and even my pores look smaller and cleaner. It does tingle a bit afterwards, so maybe it also acts like a sort of toner? I also tried this one for removing eyeshadow swatches on my arm, and everything wipes off very easily even the dark and glittery shades!

I really like this product for removing my face makeup and swatches, but for eyes it’s a no for me. Shall I repurchase this? Yes I definitely will! For a blogger that does a lot of swatches, this cleanser is perfect! My face feels clean and fresh afterwards and I love that!

I hope you all liked this review and that you’ve had a wonderful day! I will see you all next time!

I have this and I totally agree- great for foundation but terrible for eyes! I have really sensitive eyes and I really have to rub with this, for me it’s nowhere near as good at removing makeup than normal makeup wipes! Still like it though! 🙂 x

I love this too, i think it works so well, but I have to agree that if you get it in your eyes it stings so much! X
