Hello beauties! It’s review time! Today I’m reviewing the L’Oreal Miss Baby Roll Mascara, I will show you before and after shots and tell you all about this fabulous mascara. I can already tell you a little secret, this has become my favorite mascara right now so if you wanna know why then definitely keep on reading!
Here in The Netherlands everything that is new on the market comes in so much later, so when I saw this baby floating around on the internet and heard that people are loving this mascara I couldn’t wait until it was finally here in stores. Before I got this mascara my lashes we’re not really loving life so I was in desperate need of a good new one. My lashes don’t hold curl well and drop down within seconds. That’s why when I purchased this mascara I opt for the waterproof version as waterproof mascara’s hold curl way better than normal mascara’s.
If you couldn’t already tell from the title of this post, this is the L’Oreal Miss Baby Roll Mascara! This mascara will give you mega volume and curly lashes from root to tip that will hold all day long for an instant lash lift. This mascara comes in 4 different colors, you have black, teal, indigo and lilac, so it’s also nice for a special party!
This is what the brush looks like. I’ve never seen a mascara brush like this so I think it’s a really special one! It are plastic bristles which I’m a big fan of and they’re going in a swirly direction. This brush will create a lot of curl that lasts all day.
Now a little before and after!
Here are my bare lashes, I tint them but otherwise they are blonde and invisible to the naked eye, haha. This is when I look straight in the camera and you can see that they’re not really curly and long looking.
Here I’ve applied the mascara, I did curl my lashes beforehand but that’s what I always do anyways. You can definitely see more curl, volume and length.
Here again my naked lashes, but now I’m looking up so you can really see the lengthening effect!
Here with the mascara, my lashes even touch my eyebrow! So this mascara is definitely lengthening.
Also a shot of me looking down.
Here looking down with the mascara on, I do think it gave me more volume.
I’ve been using this mascara for quite some time, because of that my lashes look a bit clumpy but that’s because the mascara is slowly drying out. It didn’t make my lashes clumpy when the tube was full just so you know.
This mascara applies really nice and really grabs on to the lashes to really pull them up and curl them. It’s also nice and pigmented, it’s not too wet and clumpy but also not too separating and natural. It just gives you the right amount of sass. Of course I’ve got the waterproof one and I gotta tell you, waterproof it is! It held up in horrible rainy weather and teary eyes so this is definitely a good waterproof mascara. This mascara separates the lashes really well and even with one coat it’s nice and rich in color. The brush is pretty comfortable on the eye and doesn’t hurt, but it can get a bit messy when you’re not careful. Removing the mascara is another task. It’s a good waterproof mascara but boy o boy is it hard to remove! I always use an oil and even then it takes a while until everything is off, so that’s a bit of a con. I’m really in love with this mascara and it has been such a long time ago that my lashes looked that good and long, so I’m definitely keeping this one in my collection for a long time!
That was everything for today! I hope you enjoyed reading and I will see you all next time!
