Makeup Revolution – Ultra Eyeshadows Flawless Palette.
Hi loves! Today I’m gonna review the Makeup Revolution Ultra Eyeshadows Flawless Palette. This is an absolute stunning palette, so be ready for some swatches!
This palette really caught my eye. It was shimmery and the colors were just amazing. I love Makeup Revolution as a brand, it’s super cheap and really good quality!
This is the box the palette came in. It already looks stunning! It’s really nice gold, I love it!
Here is the palette. It has 32 eyeshadows, some are matte, some are shimmery and there are also some glittery ones in this baby. It’s a hard plastic black shiny case with gold writing on it. It looks really classy.
Here you can see all the colors and the names of the colors. You can see that some shades are a bit more chunky. The pan sizes aren’t really big so that’s a bit of a shame. The eyeshadows are really creamy, but the weird thing is that they all feel different. Some are more creamy and some are more powdery.
The palette is really universal. You have some light nude colors, but also heavier colors for a party look. I love how versatile this palette is. In some palettes I sometimes miss a lighter color or a darker one, so I’m really happy that this palette has both!
Here are the swatches of the first row. The pigmentation of the first two colors are a little weaker than the rest. I think Paper is a really nice base shade. Soft Glow and Highlite shift a bit to different colors which is really cool! From this row I think I like Brew and Silver Smoke the best!
Here is the second row. The first three colors are again a little weaker in pigmentation (that’s the case with almost all of the lighter colors). I do think Barely pink is a super pretty color. I also like Lowlite, Gold Digger, Cheerless and Blue Stars very much.
This is the third row. This row is a little more brown toned. Smudge is the only matte one in this row, and Black Tie is a glittery shadow, which is so pretty! It almost looks like a galaxy! I think I like Universal and Black Tie the most out of this row.
The last row! I think of all the colors Raw has the least pigmentation. There are two red shades in this row that almost look identical. The black one, Night is a super pigmented black. I love that, because most black eyeshadows are not as pigmented as this one! My faves of this one is Red Night and Molton Chocolate.
The eyeshadows are really pretty. When I applied it I had some mixed feelings about it. There were days that it applied and blended like a dream, but there were also days that they just didn’t work at all. I find using an eye primer underneath makes them really streaky and patchy and there is no way you can make them blend nicely. It’s not the fault of the eye primer because I use this all the time and I never have problems with it.
These eyeshadows work a lot better without anything underneath which is a bit weird to me, but okay! When they have their happy days they work amazing and my eye look always looks so stunning! The eyeshadows do last really well! I never used eyeshadows that stayed on so well. They don’t crease or smudge, which is always a problem for me so I’m really happy! I love this eyeshadow palette even though it’s a struggle sometimes! Have you tried this palette already? I really like to know your thoughts about it!
That was the review for today! I hope you liked it, and I will see you all next time!
