MOTD | Warm Toned vs Cool Toned Makeup Look.

Happy July Beauties! Today I have a makeup of the day post for you guys. I wanted to experiment with makeup but I haven’t got around to do so. Today is just a lazy Sunday so I thought why not do it today. I will go through all the steps and the products I’ve used so if you like this colorful makeup look then keep reading!

I wanted to do something more out of the box today and play a little bit with color. I came up with this awesome warm toned vs cool toned idea and I think the colors really compliment each other. I know for some people this is not a typical day to day look but you can always wear this to an event or party!

I started off with toning my skin and a moisturizer. After that I applied a face primer and my foundation, today I decided to apply my foundation with a brush instead of a sponge for a more matte finish and a bit more coverage.

I applied some concealer under my eyes and blended that in with a sponge. I powdered my face with a loose translucent powder and now I’m ready to put some color back into my face.

I didn’t want a full contoured look so I applied my bronzer lightly in the hollows of my cheeks and a bit on my forehead. I also put on a little bit of blush and went to town with my highlighter on my cheekbones, nose and cupidsbow. I love my highlighter 🙂

I set my face with a setting spray and now it’s time for the eyes.

I filled in my brows using a brow pencil and set them in place with brow gel. For my eyeshadow I started with a matte bright blue in my crease and blended that out. Then I used some purples and pink in the crease as well for more depth.

With my finger I applied this gorgeous bright shimmery orange to most of my lid. I decided to put a bright shimmery blue in the inner corners for an extra pop of color.

Then I applied a tiny bit of black on my outer corner to create some more depth and a shimmery white in the inner corner to open up my eyes.

For the lower lashline I put the purple on the outer part and the orange on the rest of the lower lashline. I put some black eye pencil in the waterline and I applied Mascara on the top and bottom lashes.

I topped everything off with a dark nude lipstick and the look is complete! 🙂

Aww thank you so much lovely! 🙂 How great that you’ve started blogging, I would love to help you just ask any questions that you want! My main tips will be, be yourself, don’t push it too hard so it stays fun I mean if you write because you NEED to the post are most of the time less good instead of when you are in the mood. Interact a lot with your readers but also with other bloggers. I wish you all the luck and fun and if you have any questions you can always give me an E-mail 🙂 X
