Project Pan | Update #1.

Project Pan | Update #1.

Hello loves! It’s time for the first update of Project Pan, and I’m so excited! Today I will show you the progress I’ve made and how I think about this whole project, so shall we take a look together?

I really love this project, but it’s a lot harder than I thought! A month has past now and I didn’t really made that much of a progress. I didn’t really think it would go that slow! I must be honest and say that I didn’t use the products everyday, but that’s okay I think. I also discovered some new love for some of the products, but there are also some products that I can’t wait to empty. I see this project as a little mission and it’s so fun to look at it that way and see the pictures side by side to see how well you’ve done! I don’t have “before and after” pictures of everything, only of the products you can see a difference in.

Let’s take a look at my progress!

Makeup:

project pan

Maybelline Super Stay 24H Concealer in Light 2.

I don’t really know how far I’ve come with this one, but I do think I did a pretty good job knowing that the shade is way too dark for me. I made it kinda work. I think it’s half way empty now.

NYC Smooth Skin Perfecting Primer.

I also tried to use this one as much as possible. Because it was really old the product looked a bit weird, but after shaking it, it was okay again. I think it’s now about a quarter full.

L’Oreal True Match Foundation in C1 Ivory Rose.

After using this a lot now I found some new love for this product! Few years ago it looked really bad, but now it looks amazing. I don’t mind using this one everyday, I really like it. I think it’s halfway empty now but I’m not sure!

project pan

L’Oreal Infallible 24H Powder Foundation in 123 Warm Vanilla.

There is not a super big change, but you can definitely see a little bit more pan. I really don’t understand why makeup goes so slow, it’s crazy! I didn’t use it a lot so I’m quite happy to see a little bit of a change.

project pan

Essence Silky Touch Blush in 20 Babydoll.

It’s a bit hard to see because I didn’t hit pan yet, but I think that the dent looks a little deeper now. I hope I hit pan soon on this one! I’ve used it here and there but also not everyday (also because I don’t wear makeup everyday, that why it’s not going that fast).

project pan

Gerard Brinard Eye Brow Kit.

This one I used every time when I did my makeup. I do like the dark brown powder but the lighter one is just too warm toned for my brows. I tried to use the light brown as eyeshadow, so I’m still trying to make it work, I’m determent, haha! You can see quite a big change in this one, but I think that’s because I’ve used it a lot!

project pan

Catrice Glam & Doll Curl and Volume Mascara.

Ugh this one is a hard one. I really hate using this one, it just does nothing for my lashes and goes everywhere on my lids. I really hope to bury this one soon! I don’t know how much there is left, but I don’t think it’s going to last really long because it drying out slowly.

Rimmel Volume Colourist Mascara.

Same with this one, I hate it! It also does nothing for my lashes. I like my lashes big and bold, and this one makes them look even worse than without mascara. I guess this one still needs a long way to go before it runs empty *boohoo*

Etos Stay Perfect Lash & Brow gel.

This one I do really like, I also use this one every time I do my brows. The product is down to the “R” in Lash & Brow, so still a long way to go!

project pan

Essence Eyeshadow in 06 Metropolitan.

I forgot a little bit about this one to be honest, but I think you can also see that. There is not much of a change, maybe slightly but not much. I’m really gonna try to use this one more in the next month!

project pan

Catrice Absolute Nude Palette in 010 All Nude.

This palette is not really my thing. It’s light and super shimmery and not super pigmented. This one I did use quite a lot like you can see! Shade 4 is going really well, but also the other colors changed slightly!

project pan

Essence Quattro in 07 Over The Taupe.

This one I don’t mind using, it looks kinda pretty. There is also some change in this one, you can see a bit more of the pan but also the other colors have a deeper dent.

project pan

Essence Lipstick in 53 All About Cupcake.

I didn’t use this one really often, but to my surprise it did became a little smaller! I think we’re getting somewhere! It’s not really my shade anymore, but I’m okay wearing it.

Beauty:

I only made an “after” picture of the toner because you can’t really see progress in the other things haha!

Vichy Normaderm Toner.

I must say that I forgot a little about my beauty bits. I haven’t used this one a real lot but you can still see a big change!

Vichy Normaderm Anti-Imperfections and Hydrating Cream.

I also didn’t really use this one that often. I do think it’s almost running empty so we shall see!

Kruidvat Cleansing Milk for Sensitive skin.

This one I did use quite a lot and I must say that I did a nice job on this one. There is only a little bit left I think! I do really like this one actually so I don’t mind using it!

Andrelon Dry Shampoo.

I’m a bit ashamed, but I haven’t even touched this one! How bad of me! I will do better next month with this one I promise!

project pan

Alright I haven’t empty anything yet, but I can’t give up! It’s only been a month, and next month I will try to do my best even more! Don’t forget to check out my first post about starting Project Pan. I explain everything about this project and the products in that post! 🙂

I will see you all next month for the next update!

How did you like the NYC Primer? Didn’t realize they had one.

It’s not the best primer I’ve tried, but I do think it’s really nice! It does its job fine 🙂 X

That is actually good progress for just one month! Keep it up!
Every time I see someone else’s project pan I want to start one myself, but I’m not getting sucked back into it, I really must learn this is not my thing and come up with other approaches to using my collection

You think? I’m maybe just impatient haha! I hope you can figure out something as well that will work for you 🙂 X
