Sleek – Ultra Mattes Brights Eyeshadow Palette | Review.

Hi guys! How are you all doing? Today I’m reviewing the Sleek Ultra Mattes Brights Eyeshadow Palette. Like the name already says, it’s a matte eyeshadow palette full of bright colors, so if you like some color in your life and want to know more about this palette then keep on reading!

I love bright colored eyeshadows so I thought this must be the palette for me as it’s full of them. I love to experiment with them and create some nice colorful looks.

In this little palette you’ll find a mirror which is really handy, a double ended sponge applicator and 12 bright colored matte eyeshadows.

I also made some swatches (of course). This is the top row with the first 6 shades. Unfortunately not all shades are as pigmented. In this row Chill and Sugar Lite are the least pigmented, that’s such a shame because I really liked the purple shade in the pan. The yellow shade Bamm! is very pigmented which is pretty rare for a yellow shade so that’s nice!

This is what the second row looks like, again it varies in pigmentation, the first 3 shades and the white are nice and pigmented but the light pink and grey are almost non-existent. I love the orange and blue shade in this row!

I also made 2 different makeup looks for you guys so you can see how they perform on the eyes.

With this look I’ve used the yellow shade Bamm! and a little bit of the orange shade Strike. I really like how this look turned out and these 2 shades went really well together and blended very nice. This look is very different from your standard nude look but I still really like it.

This is my second look, I’ve used the light blue shade in the crease which is called Chill, the darker blue Bolt in the outer corner, Sugar Lite in the middle and Pout in the inner corner. With this look I had a little bit more struggles, the blue shades didn’t blend super well and the purple shade looks very patchy no matter what I did I just couldn’t get it to look opaque. The pink shade is really nice though! I still like this look but I would love it if the purple shade didn’t look so patchy.

So what are my thoughts on this palette? I like the shades and that they are all matte, I do miss a black shade in this palette a little bit though. It’s a bit of a shame that not all shades are the same pigmentation and quality. Some shades are amazingly pretty and work really nice and blend well but others are horrible in pigmentation and look very patchy. You can create everything you want with this palette which is super lovely to let your creativity and fantasy speak. Some shades might not be really pigmented but with every makeup product, you can make it work if you try hard enough. I think you can create some lovely makeup looks even though it’s maybe not the best brightly colored eyehshadow palette in the world. It’s also not too expensive so it’s worth giving it a try 🙂

I had high hopes when I seen the colours but I just don’t think there pigmented enough for what I’m looking for. However I might just nip in to the shops and give them a swatch myself because I am desperate to find a good pink orange and yellow shade for a sunset eye. Your eyemakeup looks brilliant by the way xx

I have an eyeshadow pallete review on my blog which has super bright colours in it. I’d appreciate it if you took a look xxxx
